The Carmel College community engages in numerous Social Justice actions which enrich the lives of all members within the community. As witnesses to the Good News, Carmel College embodies all aspects of mission and justice, and is committed to advocating for and empathising with those on the margins of society.

- St Vincent de Paul Society's Christmas Appeal
- Mini Vinnies
- Annual school sleepout and blanket appeal
- Rosies “Friends on the Street” outreach program
- Caritas’ Project Compassion
- Catholic Mission
- Visits to Cleveland Gardens (local residence for the elderly)
- Carmivale
- Immersions to outreach and serve the communities of Samoa and Cherbourg
- Annual social justice afternoon
- NAIDOC week
- Community initiatives and fundraisers
Through these initiatives, the active stewardship which Carmel College demonstrates, ensures authentic support for the local community and beyond, specifically the disadvantaged, displaced, and marginalised.
